My theoretical approach.
I use a person-centred approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) where appropriate. I recognise that every client is unique, with their own individual experiences, needs and goals. Therefore, I tailor my approach to suit each client, drawing on different therapeutic techniques to provide personalised support that best meets their individual needs.
My goal is to help you overcome your obstacles, manage and recover from your struggles, and move forward towards the life you want to live. I will support you, encourage you, and walk alongside you every step of the way.
Flexible ways you can access support from me.
I understand that everyone has different needs and circumstances, so I offer flexible ways for us to work together. Whichever option you choose, you’ll receive the same confidential, compassionate and supportive space to talk openly and at your own pace.
You can choose the setting that feels most comfortable and accessible for you. I offer:
Confidential, in‑person counselling sessions in a private, peaceful and purpose‑built garden room at my home in Helsby.
